Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Muse Quest collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects player data. Store-console App Privacy / Data Safety declarations, actual SDK behavior, and this policy should remain consistent.
This policy is a product-level compliance document and does not replace formal legal review for your jurisdiction or operating region. Before launch, confirm that actual SDKs, payments, login, advertising, consent management, and analytics services are included.
1. Scope
This policy applies to Muse Quest PWA, mobile app, pre-login public website, support, purchases, leaderboards, official quizzes, question-bank services, advertising services, and related backend services.
2. Data We May Collect
3. How We Use Data
- To provide login, official quizzes, cloud saves, leaderboards, titles, purchases, ad rewards, and support.
- To verify purchases, handle refunds, manage subscriptions, and deliver or revoke virtual products.
- To show website ads, in-app ads, and rewarded ads, and to manage ad frequency, fraud prevention, performance measurement, and compliance.
- To detect cheating, cracking, app repackaging, falsified payment, abnormal login, invalid ad traffic, or abuse.
- To improve question quality, game balance, UI performance, bug fixes, and security.
- To comply with law, platform policies, tax, accounting, dispute handling, or law-enforcement requests.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Use Table
5. Ads, Personalized Ads, and Consent Management
Muse Quest may show ads on the website, PWA, or mobile app, including banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, or other Google-supported ad formats. If personalized ads are enabled, ad services may use your advertising ID, approximate region, device information, ad interactions, and consent status to show more relevant ads. If consent is not granted or local law requires limits, we will show non-personalized or limited ads based on available settings.
For the EU, UK, EEA, or other regions requiring consent management, we use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK or equivalent tools to request and store ad consent status. You may reset or limit Advertising ID / AAID in device settings, use Google ad settings, or use available in-app privacy options to adjust personalized ad preferences.
6. Children and Minors
Muse Quest is intended for general learning and entertainment users and does not primarily target children under 13 or children as defined by applicable local law. Minors should use the service with parent or guardian consent and supervision. If we know a user is a child, or if local law / platform policy requires child-directed handling, we will apply appropriate restrictions, such as disabling or limiting personalized ads, avoiding interest-based ads, adjusting data processing, and asking a parent or guardian to contact us for data-rights requests when needed.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell player personal data. We share necessary data with necessary third parties only to provide services, process payments, support users, protect security, deliver and measure ads, manage consent, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, or follow platform policies.
8. Data Retention
Account and gameplay data are retained until account deletion or until no longer needed for service operation. Transaction, refund, chargeback, security audit, ad compliance, invalid traffic detection, and support records may be retained longer for accounting, tax, platform dispute, anti-cheat, ad fraud prevention, or legal needs. De-identified or aggregated data may be used for product improvement, analytics, and ad performance measurement.
9. Account Deletion / Data Deletion
You may use the Account / Data Deletion Request page or email musedini.support@gmail.com to request account or personal data deletion. To prevent impersonated deletion requests, we may require reasonable identity verification. After deletion, some transaction, refund, security, ad compliance, and legal records may be retained for necessary purposes.
10. Security Measures
We use measures such as server-authoritative decisions, transaction records, question-bank signatures, app integrity checks, access controls, and audit logs to reduce cheating, data tampering, unauthorized access, and invalid ad traffic. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Cloud, payment, login, advertising, consent management, or support services we use may be located outside your country or region. By using the service, you understand that data may be processed across borders according to service-provider and legal requirements.
12. Your Rights and Opting Out of Personalized Ads
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, processing restriction, consent withdrawal, or a copy of your data. Submit requests through the official email. You may also reset or limit Advertising ID / AAID in device settings, or use Google ad settings to adjust personalized ads. If in-app privacy options or a consent management entry is provided, you can update ad consent status there.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this policy due to features, legal changes, platform requirements, advertising SDKs, or third-party service changes. Material changes will be announced through the app, website, or other reasonable methods.
